Over the years, Harper Construction built bridge railings and parapets on many projects in the Southeast. Many of these were in the Florida area including the Howard Franklin Bridge spanning Tampa Bay to St. Petersburg; the 49th Street Bridge in St. Petersburg; Buckman Bridge in Jacksonville; toll bridges; and others. In 1996, Harper Construction established a structures division (primarily involved in bridge related construction) in Nesbit, Mississippi.

Structures Division Services:

Culvert Construction: staking, excavation and erosion control, footing foundation, forming, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, and backfill with erosion control.

Overpass Construction: prestressed concrete overpass spans. Vehicle, pedestrian and wildlife crossing structures. Multi-lane structures.

Bridge Construction: Truss or beam, arched, and cantilever projects.
